On the afternoon of November 6, the signing ceremony of China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach) at the 8^th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). In the presence of Li Xiaoyu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Sinomach; Zhang Yu, Director of Sinomach’s Operation and Management Department; Fang Yanshui, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC); and Ding Dongxing, Deputy Director of CMEC’s Operation and Management Department, Yan Weihua, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of China National Electric Engineering Co., Ltd. (CNEEC), and Denis Bauer, General Manager of CNIM Martin Private Limited, signed an agreement on the purchase of complete equipment for a waste-to-energy project in Vietnam. CNEEC serves as the EPC contractor of the project.

This signing marks CNEEC’s successful expansion into new countries and acquisition of new clients in Southeast Asia, built on its accumulated experience from the Reppie waste-to-energy project in Ethiopia, the Palembang waste-to-energy project in Indonesia, and the world’s first waste-to-energy project in Thailand that features high temperature, ultra-high-pressure single reheat technology. It also represents another milestone in the company’s specialized development in waste-to-energy and comprehensive solid waste management by focusing on primary responsibilities, core businesses, and key markets in alignment with its long-term strategic planning for the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
